2010 Art Show & Sale - April 24th and 25th
We invite all artists and photographers to participate in our April event! Your fee of $30 entitles you to three (3) entries to be judged and one entry for the Thea Hoyt Award. Work must be original and not previously shown at Packanack Lake. Spaces will be assigned on a first come basis. Please review the prospectus and entry form for rules and additional information. You are also invited to display additional pieces for sale on Sunday, April 25th.
The schedule is as follows:
Saturday, April 10th
Deadline for receipt of entry form and entry fee of $30.00.
Saturday, April 24th
10 to 12pm - Receiving and setup of art to be judged at the clubhouse.
12 to 2pm - Judging
3 to 6pm - Viewing by the public
6 to 8pm - Reception - exhibitors only (plus one guest)
Sunday, April 25th
11 to 12pm - Bring in additional pieces for sale
1 to 5pm - Show and sale open to public
4:30pm - Presentation of awards
By 5:30 - All artwork must be removed
In past years we have had over 400 visitors with many purchasing art and photography works. We will promote the show and sale through press releases, and mail. This is a good venue to sell your work with no commission fee. We hope you will participate in this event and join us at the reception on Saturday evening to socialize with your fellow artists!
