Swim ClubThe Swim Club was formally organized in 1948 and the fist swim meet was held on July 30, 1949. The only United States club to enter a US/Canada meet in 1956 was Packanack – many of the teams medals and trophies can be viewed today in the Trophy Room. Our goal then as it is today is to instill a life-long love of swimming, Packanack Lake and to build a program of excellence and family support where every swimmer has the opportunity to achieve their potential and compete at the highest level. The program is designed to teach each child a solid foundation of swimming fundamentals in a professional instructional environment.
