Train Club

The Packanack Train Club was founded in 1997 and is based on use of interlocking portable models built and owned by individual train club members.

Periodically the Train Club has a show at the clubhouse to demonstrate the trains operation.  Member build models at home, bring them to meetings, hook them together to other members models and operate on a layout much larger than they can fit in their home.  Some models and miniature scenery is perfectly accurate and to scale – it is truly like looking at the real thing only smaller.  Come to the next show to see the “mini” tennis club or clubhouse complete with the ranger and his pick up truck.
